Like Marcia's previous entry, I live in St. Louis, so I wasn't around much, but I talk to Sissy.  If you attended the service then you know that the Pastor talked about Travis and his new cell phone. When he mentioned this, I just sat and smirked because I remember Sissy having this conversation with me not long ago.  She called one day and mentioned that she was on her way to St. Louis.  She mentioned how she was taking Travis' new cell phone (gadget) to the store because something went wrong with it.  She said,"Travis just always has to have the latest and I told him to wait a while before getting this phone"... She was very proud of him!!! I can't even try to imagine what she and Billy are experiencing, but what I do know, is that God heals! He's an awesome God and sits on the highest throne of them all.  He will be their comforter right now in there most highest time of need!! God Bless~~~

Every time I would talk to Muriel I would ask her about Travis because I knew he was such a good son.  I didn't see him much (I live in St Louis) but I can remember the few times we had to talk.  Often when I talked to Muriel she would share special stories about Travis and even though I knew she was only trying to convince me to have my own child..talking with her always made me smile. Especially when she mentioned him.  He had the prettiest smile like his mother and charm like his father.  I will think about him every time I see them.

You will be missed but our memories of you will last a lifetime!

Travis and I worked together at the restaurant up at Stone Hill when we were in high school.  I can't count how many fun times we had there.  It was always very entertaining, like us playing our air instruments to our rock music that was blaring out of the tiny kitchen radio.  We would often get irritated with each other somehow and I would chase him out of the kitchen, threatening him with a serving spoon, he would laugh all the way out the door.  No matter what, though, there were plenty of laughs when we were both in the kitchen, and on days we worked different shifts it would get miserable.   Now that he is gone forever, those memories are all I have left, and there is nothing in this world I would trade them for.  Goodbye, Travis.

Muriel would always call me and ask me to call Travis because she was the mom and he wouldn't answer the phone or tell her anything.  So she'd call me and ask if i'd give him a call see where's he's at and if he needed a ride home...I never told him that I was doing it for mom...but he appreciated it so much, never needed a ride he always had everything under control...miss you cuz
